The hero you are waiting for already lives within you. The strongest faith you will ever carry is faith in yourself, because when that faith disappears, life does not abandon you—you slowly stop reaching for the life that was still waiting for you.
Awkwardness usually lasts a moment. Regret can keep asking the same question for years: what would have happened if I had simply tried?
Absence has a strange memory. It keeps the shape of what once held us close, reminding us that an ending does not rewrite what was real.
The world is quick to name a woman by what it can see. I have learned to look longer. Her work may tell me something about her life, but never enough to tell me who she is.

Belonging is not being understood without explanation. Sometimes it is knowing that you can explain who you are, what you feel, and what you need without becoming afraid that honesty will cost you your place.
Leadership is not always being the person with the answer. Sometimes it is creating enough trust that other people can think clearly, speak honestly, and take responsibility without needing you to stand in the middle of everything.
Identity is not everything we have learned to become for other people. Sometimes it begins with noticing what remains when there is nobody left to impress, reassure or convince.
Trust is not built by saying the right thing once. It grows when our words keep meeting the same reality, especially on the days when keeping them would be easier to avoid.
I would rather be chosen with the door open than kept close by a heart that wants to leave. Love means more when staying is still a choice.
Self-respect is not believing I am better than anyone else. It is knowing there are places I should not have to abandon myself just to remain accepted.
Last night, I dreamed I had wings. I flew toward everything I had taught myself not to reach for, and woke with the quiet grief of realising the sky had never been what held me back.
